About Pete Garza

Pete Garza is a Texas country artist based in the Houston area, living out a lifelong dream of becoming a performer. Music wasn’t an easy road at first — he tried learning guitar left-handed, gave up, and walked away. Ten years later, he picked it back up right-handed and never looked back.

Rooted in classic country and Texas honky-tonk, Pete’s sound draws heavily from the artists that shaped real country music — George Strait, Dwight Yoakam, Alan Jackson, T.G. Sheppard, Merle Haggard, and the Texas greats, while also mixing in modern influences like Randy Rogers Band, Braxton Keith, Jon Pardi, and Midland. As a solo artist, he delivers a full-band sound, blending tradition with a fresh, crowd-ready energy.

Whether he’s playing an afternoon beer garden set or a packed honky-tonk, Pete Garza brings honest country music, strong vocals, and a deep respect for the songs that made the genre what it is. Based in Houston, TX, he continues to build his name one stage at a time — keeping real country alive and doing exactly what he was always meant to do.
